My Lock Transformation ~ Cut. Color & Style.
When I started my locks 5 years ago, it was just a natural progression for me. I was comfortable with my natural hair texture and I had a busy lifestyle. I'd worn my hair natural in many styles, coils, two strand twists, cornrows, silk press, puffy fro and the list goes on. I did not begin with "starter locks." My natural hair was already in coils and I just decided one day to let the process begin.
So here I am 5 years later. I've always enjoyed my locks at everystage. One of the perks of being in the natural beauty business is, all the beautiful lock styles I have been able to model and wear. The before picture is my natural hair color. This is not my first hair color in the makeover, but the haircut is a first! Ranada created a modern bob giving my locks shape and definition. My haircolor is so rich and vibrant. I had 100% confidence in her creativity. My locks are now a headturning color blocking of a deep red, dramatic red and intense copper.
For a soft body and fullness she set my locks on rods and finished the look with Indigofera Nourishing Hair Serum for a touch of moisture and shine. Of course a little glam made me feel even more fabulous! Have a look and share your thoughts.
