How are essential oils different from fragrance oil?
Essential oils are derived from plants or herbs and have a therapeutic effect on the mind, body and spirit. Fragrance oils, however, are synthetic ingredients that are exclusively used for scent.
Essential oils are highly concentrated aromatic extracts which are distilled from a variety of aromatic plant material including grasses, leaves, flowers, needles & twigs, peel of fruit, wood and roots.
